Belynda Sharples' designs have emerged from a life time of drawing the everyday. Familiar motifs, such as cows, chickens and areoplanes are selected from sketchbooks and carefully placed in pattern repeat to create a collection of illustrative designs that are quirky, appealing and immensley usable.

A collaboration between Bernard Thorp and The Art of Wallpaper. Long established design house, Bernard Thorp relaunches some of their most favourite design classics, which have been re-coloured by The Art of Wallpaper.

The Art of Wallpaper is delighted to introduce internationally acclaimed artist, Marc Camille Chaimowicz into it's portfolio of guest designers. Marc Camille Chaimowicz's first design for The Art of Wallpaper, vase was designed for a solo exhibition in 2005 at Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen in Düsseldorf, where it featured on a 30 metre wall at the entrance to the exhibition. The design was recently re-coloured and available as a limited edition run as part of a major exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary inspired by the life and work of Jean Genet, (1910 -1986), the celebrated poet of revolt.
